I'm a self-taught, period costume enthusiast and I've been obsessed with all things related to historical fashion for as long as I can remember. I enjoy bringing the past to life through beautiful costumes from all eras. I sort of classify my costumes two ways, the affordable pieces that aren't necessarily as historically accurate but still look period and wear comfortably, and the more accurate pieces. I spend a good deal more time making the accurate pieces and strive to find the most period looking trims and accessories I can, which is not easy in the age of plastic and nylon! 

I live with my boyfriend and our two "fur kids" in the lovely San Francisco Bay Area. We enjoy cooking, traveling, wine, friends, photography and the outdoors.
